Norah Yang is a Shanghai-based multilingual stand-up comedian who performs in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, and Japanese. She has been profiled by China Daily and the Australian outlet Missing Perspectives, both of which highlighted her as a pioneering multilingual voice in China's stand-up comedy scene.

She started stand-up at the end of 2016, making her debut at Shanghai's Kung Fu Komedy Club. Since then, she has performed thousands of shows across China, the United States, Australia, Thailand, and Japan, and has opened for touring international comedians including Jimmy O. Yang, Mark Normand, and Kate Willett. She has also appeared at the 2018 San Francisco Comedy Competition and was a cast member of Mamahuhu, a cross-cultural comedy YouTube channel.

In 2023, she founded SpicyComedy, a Shanghai-based stand-up comedy club. The club hosts weekly shows in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, and occasionally Cantonese and Japanese, featuring both local and international talent. It has also presented special shows featuring performers such as Jason Leong, Garron Chiu, and the Japanese konto duo Saraba Seishun no Hikari (さらば青春の光). SpicyComedy has been featured by CGTN as a driving force behind Shanghai city as well as China's stand-up comedy revival, with shows that "quickly sold out," and by That's Shanghai as part of the city's growing multilingual comedy scene.

Beyond stand-up, she is a content creator with over 9 million followers across social media platforms, where she has also interviewed international celebrities including Timothée Chalamet, Scarlett Johansson, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

She is currently touring her stand-up comedy special Family Business, a show about family, identity, and growing up between cultures.
